Terms of Service
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Memoroll for using the Memoroll Booth app, the dashboard at memoroll.my and the guest photo pages. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you use Memoroll for a business, you accept them on that business’s behalf.

1. The service
Memoroll turns an Android phone or tablet and a printer into a photo booth. Guests take photos, get a printed strip, and can open their photos online for the time the operator sets for the event (48 hours unless they choose otherwise). Operators run their photo booths and events from the dashboard.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and give accurate details when you sign up.
- Keep your password and your photo booths’ PINs safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your team members do.
- The business owner controls the business, its team and its billing.
- Tell us at [email protected] straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans and billing
- Plans are monthly subscriptions in Malaysian ringgit at the prices shown on our pricing when you subscribe. Prints are unlimited on every plan, and your plan sets how many photo booths you can pair.
- Once billing is enabled for your business, subscriptions are charged in advance each month and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires it or we say otherwise in writing.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice ends.
- Paper, printers, devices and internet access are your own costs.
4. Running events and guest data
When you run a photo booth, you are responsible for the guests’ personal data collected at your event under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010. In particular, you must:
- Have the right to photograph guests at the event and tell them that a photo booth is in use.
- Get consent from a parent or guardian where children take part, if the law requires it.
- Use guest photos and email addresses only for the event and in line with our Privacy Policy.
Guest photos are deleted when the time set for each event runs out (48 hours unless you choose longer, up to what your plan allows). Download anything you need to keep before then.
5. Guest payments
You may charge guests per session. You set the price and are responsible for the sale, any refunds to guests and your own taxes. When payments are collected through Memoroll, payouts go to the bank account in your settings after any fees shown in the dashboard. We may hold a payout if we suspect fraud or an error.
6. Your content
You own the logos, strip designs, photos and videos you upload, and the photos taken at your events. You give us permission to store, process, print and display them only to run Memoroll for you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
Memoroll, its apps, designs and brand belong to us. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Memoroll to:
- Photograph people without the consent the law requires, or in private places such as changing rooms.
- Upload or print anything unlawful, sexual content involving minors, hateful or harassing material, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Attack, overload or probe the service, or get into accounts or data that aren’t yours.
- Send spam through guest email.
We may remove content or suspend a business that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
8. Availability and hardware
We work to keep Memoroll running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The photo booth needs a compatible Android device and printer. We test a list of printers and can help you check yours, but we are not responsible for third-party hardware, your venue’s Wi-Fi, or paper and ink supplies. We may change or improve features over time.
9. Liability
Memoroll is provided “as is”, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost bookings or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other laws that cannot be excluded.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Memoroll and delete your business at any time. See Delete your account. We may suspend or close a business for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, for fraud, or if it stays unpaid. When a business is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email operators at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Memoroll after that, you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction. Questions: [email protected].
